*The only good thing about Columbus Day is getting to make this joke… Meanwhile, this is the calm before the storm (where have I heard that recently?)… as this week serves as the prelude to the epic storyline that cannot be named, for naming it would give it away.

*And you thought the story of the balloons was over? Is it possible that yesterday’s cartoon exists merely to introduce a slightly better drawn balloon? I wouldn’t do that, right? 😉 Meanwhile… the long anticipated return of Buzz’s arch-nemesis! What nefarious scheme does he have planned against Buzz this time? It may or may not involve pudding.

*I’m sure everyone is asking, is that a coloring error? What just happened? Friday’s episode will definitively answer that question… Meanwhile, I recommend you go back in time to Sunday August 2, 2015 and read through to Friday August 7, 2015. This will help you see that the toffee isn’t just something I pulled out of left field today. It has always been part of the plan! 🙂

Obviously, or perhaps if I did things right not so obviously, this was not the original Sunday plan. It was definitely going to continue from last Sunday and the Bill & Ted part remained the same… but when I was younger, I used to like to have conversations with people using only familiar song lyrics. It’s amazing sometimes how much of an actual conversation you can have with someone if you have the same taste in music. So, anyway, with Prince still floating in my brain I reworked today’s episode to incorporate as many lyrics as I could while still hopefully telling the story I wanted to tell. Oh, and I won’t forget about that little nugget dropped in the first story panel (after the movie poster homage) by Buzz… it means something.
