  1. This tickled me. Scientific innovation starts with a minority first, sometimes with a minority of one. It is not uncommon for new theories and the people who propose them to be ridiculed, only to be vindicated later.

    1. Yeah… Every time I used to see one of those “9 out of 10 doctors say…” commercials, I kept asking… so what did the 10th doctor say? And why was he so casually dismissed? I mean, IF he wasn’t qualified then why was he part of the group in the first place? and IF he is qualified, isn’t his conclusion valid? IF they voted on lunch, and 9 out of 10 voted for pizza… it wouldn’t mean hamburgers somehow become an invalid meal going forward!
