Raleigh Comic Book Show Sunday, 12/27/2015

Raleigh Comic Book Show PromotionI’ve been invited once again to appear as a guest artist at the Raleigh Comic Book Show. Lyn Anderson is a long-time friend and always puts on a good show. There are also a bunch of friendly dealers with a wide variety of comic books and collectibles. There are usually some good guests too, so hopefully I don’t mess that up too much! 🙂

I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones. I’ll also be bringing some freebies and perhaps some original art for sale, and I hope to gain some new followers to the blog and my Facebook page. If you’re a fan of anything you’ve seen from me, please come by and say hello!

For those who cannot attend, I’ll be blogging after the experience next Sunday to let you know what you missed. I hope to see lots of ‘Sects fans there!

  1. That’s super!! Too bad I am poor, I would be there! 😀
I hope you have a great time and a fun Christmas before this event!

    1. If we had a poor-off, I bet I would win… or lose… whichever is worse! 😉 I’m not going to be as prepared for the convention as I’d like to be, but I’ll be as prepared as I can be I think. I’m hoping to spread the love and word of my insanity and brainwash some new fans into my brand of idiocy! Between now and then I hope to alternate between glorious sleep and productivity in preparing for the show. I hope you enjoy your Christmas also!

        1. Thank you! By the way… I actually thought of you while I was out last night. I was in a local art supply store (Michael’s) and they had a sale on blank t-shirts. They also had blank baseball caps. I was thinking about our conversation a while back… I really need to check into what kind of initial investment I’d need to make to get some decent quality blank shirts/hats and some fabric pens so at a future convention I could do custom sketches on those for sale.

        2. That sounds like a great idea! I hope it turns out great for you! I think it’s worth it to try.

        3. Hopefully that will be something to aim for at the next convention I go to… I have some Buzz one-liners that I think would be nice on a t-shirt or a hat.
