Friday the 13th, Part 3… NOT in 3D!

Here we are… the third and final Friday the 13th of 2015! Way back in February I drew a Jason Voorhees inspired hockey mask… then in March I modified that for battle damage. I promised that my next endeavor for the final installment of this blog trilogy would be the mask from Jason X!

Jason X

For anyone wondering… I only wanted to draw the mask, but it looked oddly empty without the beady red and yellow eyes in there. See, Jason X was more than just a mask… Jason himself was upgraded, and his eyes were very different than in any other Friday the 13th movie before or since. So I pretty much had to fill in the eyes to make this mask really pop.

I really like how this one turned out. It’s my favorite look of all the movies, and truth be told I really like this installment of the series as perhaps even my favorite one!
