Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s Monster

Earlier in the week I posted a funny that I had created earlier this month. Before I could create that funny bit, I had to draw a proper monstrous bit. The time of the season and all, it seems appropriate for Frankenstein’s Monster to be lurking around, no?

Frankenstein

This is how you get ahead in art… by drawing one! 😉 This illustration is very much inspired by Boris Karloff’s portrayal in the classic Universal Pictures movies. The look is so iconic that it’s really hard to separate Karloff from the monster at this point. More Halloween-themed fun coming soon!

  1. I sooo love the classic monsters. The Frankenstein monster and The Creature from the Black Lagoon being two of my faves.
    Nice drawing, Stewart!

    1. Thank you! Funny you should mention the Creature… I drew him this weekend, but haven’t posted him to the blog yet. I’ll try to get him up by mid-week probably.
