  1. 😂 @ T-rump. What do you use to do your illustrations?

    1. For the most part, everything is done in Illustrator. I was feeling political towards the end of the week with the last couple of dailies, when the T-rump just popped into my head!

      1. I was talking to another blogger about this. Is it free to download? What else do you need to draw? A tablet?

        1. It isn’t free, well the new versions aren’t anyway except they do have free trials. I have heard that sometimes the older non-supported versions are free but I never looked fully into that. A lot of people use Manga Studio, but I don’t have that. I mostly use my mouse to draw, but I do have a Monoprice tablet (similar to Wacom but a lot cheaper) that I use sometimes.

        2. I have a Wacom. Bought in 2010. Since I upgraded my software to Yosemite it’s not compatible. Now I need to either pay for a subscription to something like Adobe or downgrade. I’m mad. I will downgrade because Yosemite sucks

        3. I haven’t upgraded to Yosemite… I wasn’t sure if all my older software would still work and then I just sort of forgot to upgrade! I also have an older Wacom tablet. Sometimes older drivers still work, but you might have to re-install them. I know I lost access to several old scanners when I went to Mavericks… but at some point I found a workaround with an older scanner driver that seems to be working fine now. Yosemite could be different though, as I haven’t gone there yet.

        4. I was on Snow Leopard. Do not upgrade. Yosemite is sooo slow. Would you know how to downgrade? I found some stuff online but confusing. See with my Wacom I can draw for free. Otherwise I’m going to need some software.

        5. I had Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion prior to this… going directly from Snow Leopard to Yosemite could be part of what broke you. I’ve seen where sometimes things are removed on an upgrade, and if you knew what it was you could put it back and get it working again. You might try searching online to see if anyone else has a “broken” Wacom after upgrading to Yosemite. As for downgrading… I never tried. Outside of wiping the system and installing from the original disc, I don’t know. I don’t think you can download the older versions of OSX from Apple anymore and probably not Snow Leopard at all since it was pre-App-store.

        6. Well I do have the original discs my laptop came with. Will that help?

        7. You should be able to wipe and reinstall with those. I don’t know what would happen if you just tried to install as an “upgrade” to an older version. I’ve never tried that.
