  1. I must admit Stewart, I admire how you pump out the cartoons. I’m just too slow at it.

    1. Thanks 🙂 There are a couple of factors… One being that I get some reuse on some of the scenery and characters once I’ve drawn them in a particular position. That helps the art get done quicker. As for the ideas… Inspiration comes at odd and unexpected times and I learned long ago to take notes and make scribbles.

      So I have a lot of ideas that have been waiting for an outlet… then, the more I write some of these characters the more they start to write their own stories!

      The weekend one-panel gags were a LOT tougher than writing the story for this series. This series is more alive and flexible. The one-panel non-story cartoons are new every time and don’t build on anything that came before… so those are MUCH harder to do on a regular basis. That’s why I was only doing 2 of those per week AND ultimately why I had to put those on hiatus to give this comic strip proper attention.
