Don’t get too excited, though, just on Sundays!
Tomorrow (Sunday) will begin the first Sunday installment of ‘Sects. If you’re familiar with traditional newspaper comic strips, you’ll recognize what I’m doing here. The Sunday layout is larger and follows a different track from the daily edition. It features all the same characters, but you get a different story from what has been going on in the preceding week.
For those unfamiliar with traditional Sunday comic strip layouts, here’s a quick overview so you know what to expect. I will be using a 12-panel grid laid out in three rows of four panels per row. The first panel every Sunday will be a title panel that spans two panels on the grid, so there will never be more than eleven panels of story. The remainder of the top row will contain a quick gag or homage that will be generally unrelated to the primary story.
No other changes to the regular schedule you have come to know and love over the past couple of months. ‘Sects other continuity will continue to unfold Monday through Friday, and Fringe Kisses weirdness will still be here on the weekends. I will also continue to write randomly unrelated prose as the mood strikes.
