Impressionations (FWIS), Part 3

  1. make the font color in your cartoons black, it is hard to read. thank me later

  2. It is black. It isn’t bold, but it is black. What size/resolution monitor are you viewing on? The larger the monitor, and higher the resolution, the smaller the cartoon appears in your browser which might contribute to it being harder to read.

With the multi-panel strips I don’t have as much room to expand the text as I would like, truth be told. I toyed with making the font larger or bold, but it limits too much the amount of text for this particular strip. For my other ventures I am using a larger size font which comes across better on larger monitors.

I forgot to add… the cartoon is larger than it appears in-line on the blog. If you click the cartoon you get a larger version of it that might be easier for you to read as well.

  3. it’s not the kind of black wordpress uses, the letters are more faded than any other letters on my screen

    1. You’re not wrong to observe some difficulty in reading… but I assure you it isn’t the color that is the problem. It is the only kind of black that there is.

You didn’t say what size monitor you view on, or what resolution you view in? The smaller your monitor, the larger the cartoon will appear, and the easier to read will be the text.

I may experiment this weekend to see if I can improve any… I wrestle with font size and space available for this particular kind of cartoon. Space is at a premium… but if I can figure a way to make the text bolder I will give it a go with the next round of stories and see how that looks.
